Dr. Alison Stawicki received her Dental degree from University of Detroit Mercy in 2008. Prior to dental school, Dr. Alison earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. While in dental school, Dr. Alison was selected for a HPSP scholarship through the United States Navy. Upon graduation from dental school, she went to Newport Rhode Island to complete Naval Officer Indoctrination School and earned her commission as a Lieutenant. Dr. Alison completed a 1 year Residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in San Diego while on active duty. Dr. Alison was fortunate to get her first choice for her follow-on duty station in Yokosuka Japan. She enjoyed 3 exciting years serving in the Navy and traveling the beautiful country of Japan and surrounding areas. In 2012, Dr. Alison transferred to the Naval Reserves and continues to serve today, as a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve Dental Corp. Dr. Alison spent the past 6 years working at the Aleda Lutz VAMC.
Dr. Alison Stawicki is excited to be back in Northern Michigan and closer to family and friends. During her time off she enjoys traveling, cooking, and taking her dog Skoshi for walks around town. She is excited to be a part of the Third Coast Dental Group team and serving the greater Frankfort community.
Dr. Chelsea Guzzo has a passion for treating patients. She believes that patients should be treated as individuals – with compassion and respect – in order to build lifelong patient relationships. Her goal is to provide unique, comprehensive treatment plans to her patients that address each patient’s specific dental needs.
Dr. Chelsea Guzzo received her dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2008. Prior to dental school, she completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Michigan Dental Association, and Resort District Dental Association.
Originally from Jackson, MI, Dr. Chelsea Guzzo and her family called southeast Wisconsin home from 2004-2016. They are thrilled to have returned to the Northern Michigan area to be back around family. Dr. Chelsea has a special place in her heart for Northwest Michigan as she spent most of her summers growing up in Interlochen and Traverse City.
Dr. Chelsea Guzzo and her husband, Tony, love spending time with their three children and the many animals that make up their small hobby farm. When not in the office, Dr. Chelsea enjoys being active outdoors with her dogs and family, riding horses, tending to her chickens, camping, and traveling. Dr. Chelsea enjoys being involved in the community through Smiles for the Future and Give Kids a Smile, her parish church activities, and various community health fairs.
Dr. Walt Franke graduated in 1996 from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Walt has a love of cosmetic dentistry and has been practicing cosmetic dentistry in Frankfort since graduation. From tooth-colored fillings to porcelain veneers, he is well versed in a variety of cosmetic treatments. Dr. Walt also enjoys working with patients who require removable prosthetics, such as dentures and partials. He performs many preventive and restorative procedures and can, when it best serves the patient’s oral health, refer certain cases to a network of outside specialists.
Dr. Walt Franke is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Resort District Dental Association. In addition, he and the entire team at Third Coast have taken and continue to take numerous continuing education classes in a variety of subjects in dentistry. These activities and associations help keep them abreast of any new developments in dental care.
When not in the office, Dr. Walt Franke enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, skiing, and spending time traveling with his four children and his wife, Dr. Jana Franke.
